Where We Work From

The shop is on Speer Avenue in the Athenia section of Clifton, which puts us inside a half-hour of most of North Jersey. That is not a marketing detail, it is why we can get to a leak the same week instead of the month after next, and why we are on the same streets often enough to know which blocks were built in which decade.

How We Work

Three things shape nearly every job. We inspect before we quote, so nobody is pricing a roof from the driveway. We itemize the estimate, so with the decking allowance broken out from the material price each sit on their own line and you can change them. And we photograph the deck as we open it, so the boards we replace are documented rather than asserted.

None of that is complicated. It exists because the alternative, a number over the phone, a lump-sum contract, and a surprise on the last day, is the single most common complaint homeowners have about roofers, so we do not run the job that way.

What We Are Not

We install GAF and Owens Corning products, and we are not currently enrolled in either manufacturer's contractor certification program. Plenty of roofers imply that badge without holding it. What we do have: a New Jersey licence you can look up, a 2-year workmanship warranty, manufacturer material warranties up to fifty years, and a 5.0 Google rating.

The Work Itself

Roofing is the majority of it: repair, replacement, inspection, leaks, emergencies, flat roofs and storm damage. Around that we do chimney work, siding, windows and doors, and brick and stone masonry, because the shell of a house tends to age together and it is usually the same crew and the same visit.
