How Can You Verify Four Seasons Roofing Yourself?
Three checks cover it: search our registration number on the state's official license database, ask us for a current certificate of insurance, and read our Google reviews. A registered, insured New Jersey contractor should be able to pass all three. Below is how to run each one on us.
1. Run the state license lookup. Go to the NJ Division of Consumer Affairs license verification search, choose Home Improvement Contractors, and enter 13VH11720500.
You'll see the registration listed as Active under Four Season Construction Inc in Clifton, NJ, with our owner listed, issue date 9/8/2021. If a contractor's number does not come back Active, or they will not give you a number at all, choose another contractor.
2. Ask for the insurance certificate. We state on our Clifton roof repair page that we're a licensed and insured New Jersey contractor, and the certificate is the paper that backs that up. Call (862) 318-3997 and ask for a current certificate of insurance before work starts.
3. Read the reviews where we can't edit them. Search "Four Seasons Roofing and Construction Clifton NJ" on Google and read the Business Profile reviews directly. Third-party review platforms are harder for a contractor to curate than its own website, so that is where to read them.
What Do the Reviews Say About Four Seasons Roofing?
Our Google rating is 5.0, a figure we publish on our own homepage and one you can confirm on our Google Business Profile. Beyond Google, Today's Homeowner ranks us #8 in its 10 Best Roofers in Passaic, NJ list, and the Networx profile that lists us shows a verified review from a customer thanking Bes, our owner, by name. We are also listed on Yelp, HomeAdvisor, and Facebook.
Two notes on what this page cannot show. First, we are not BBB accredited: bbb.org lists our business in Clifton and marks it Not BBB Accredited, so a site that says otherwise is wrong, and the state license database is the authoritative check in New Jersey. Second, our review count is concentrated on Google, so that is where to read independent feedback on us.
Questions? Call (862) 318-3997 and ask.
Is Four Seasons Roofing Licensed and Insured in New Jersey?
Yes. Our New Jersey Home Improvement Contractor registration is #13VH11720500, and the NJ Division of Consumer Affairs lists it as Active: registered to Four Season Construction Inc of Clifton, NJ, with our owner listed, issued 9/8/2021. We print that number on our service pages rather than burying it, and we carry insurance, with a certificate available to any customer who asks before work begins.
We install GAF and Owens Corning roofing products. As described on our warranty page, we at Four Seasons offer a 50-year warranty on roof replacement and a 2-year warranty on roof repair. Request the written coverage for the proposed work and review any separate product warranty documents.
What Happens When You Ask Us for an Estimate?
The estimate is free and in writing: we measure the roof, photograph the problem areas, and hand you a line-item price you can compare against anyone else's quote line by line. On replacements our policy is full tear-off with a deck inspection, never an overlay, and product warranty eligibility must be checked against the selected system. The process is laid out step by step on our roof replacement in Clifton page.
Ready for a price? Estimates are free.
There is no deposit demanded on the spot and no pressure script. Take the written estimate, run our NJ HIC number through the state site, and call another roofer for a second opinion if you want one. A registered, insured contractor that warranties its work has no reason to rush you.
Legitimacy Questions, Answered Straight
