What a Repair Costs Here
Nobody can price a roof repair honestly from the phone. You get an itemized price in writing after the inspection, and the inspection costs nothing. When to Book It
Spring and fall book out fastest. Summer heat softens shingles, which makes some repairs cleaner. Winter repairs are real and we do them, though some sealants need minimum temperatures, so a January fix sometimes gets a February finish pass. This past winter snow froze on Bev's roof and water backed up into the house, we were out the next day in the freezing cold, then came back after the thaw to replace her gutters. If water is coming in now, none of that matters. Call.
Does a repair reset my roof's age? No. It fixes the failure point, the rest of the roof stays as old as it was.

The Two-Layer Roof Problem
