If a storm is involved, the money may not be a financing question at all. We document damage properly during inspection so a claim has what an adjuster needs. We will not tell you a worn-out roof is storm damage, because that helps nobody when the claim is reviewed.

Worth saying plainly: the cheapest outcome is often that you do not need a new roof yet. A fair number of the roofs we inspect have years left, and the leak is flashing or a pipe boot. We say so when that is the case.
